About Us

At Foster Innovations, we began as a traditional nonprofit focused on helping foster youth develop essential skills. Over time, we evolved into a continuous innovation platform dedicated to transforming the child welfare space. We recognize the need for governments to innovate and improve their child welfare systems, and we are here to help make that happen.

Our Values:

  1. Beneficiaries as Innovators: We firmly believe that beneficiaries should be involved in developing innovative solutions designed to address their own challenges. While numerous programs and resources exist for foster children in the nonprofit sector, we noticed a gap in organizations that capture the voices of system stakeholders in a meaningful way, fostering customer-centric innovations.
  2. Rapid Continuous Innovation: We believe that ongoing innovation leads to mass customization and the creation of real-time breakthrough products. Foster Innovations exists to drive change in the child welfare space. Although we started in the foster care sector, we plan to expand into child care and juvenile justice by acquiring small nonprofits with unique value propositions.
  3. Turnaround Systemic Change: We are convinced that systemic change promotes equity. The status quo should not dictate what is possible. We envision a world where we strive to uplift others on a systemic level. We adamantly believe that governments can act in the best interest of the child by adopting a service-focused and customer-centric approach. Our purpose is to empower governments to enhance their child welfare systems. We do not claim to have all the answers but seek to learn about and design solutions that governments can implement for faster innovation.

At Foster Innovations, our passion for transforming the child welfare system drives us to continuously explore new ideas and solutions. By keeping our core values at the heart of everything we do, we remain dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of foster youth and the broader child welfare system.
